Infant mental health encompasses the child’s ability to experience, regulate, and express emotions, as well as to form secure relationships and explore their environment, while achieving milestones along the course of development. Attachment, on the other hand, refers to the early bonds formed between infants and caregivers, which serve as the foundation for later emotional and social development. The Collection Infant mental health and attachment will explore both the distinct and interrelated roles of infant mental health and attachment, offering insights into their developmental significance and the implications for caregiving and clinical interventions.
Submissions will be considered through July 2025.
